6G Timeline


Here is our short new video from our 6G training course that explains when 6G is coming. If you are too busy to watch the video, the rough answer is 2030 but there is also a good consensus within the research community and the industry that 6G will happen somewhere between 2028 and 2032. This will of course depend on a lot of different factors, for example, how quickly is everyone adopting the new technologies, what are the killer applications and use cases and what devices and gadgets are available.
